Theres a reason Ovie hasn't fought since 2010. NOBDOY WANTS A PIECE OF THAT! Along came a clueless "kid" and learned that the hard way lol.

I just learned that Ovechkin's last fight was about 9 years ago. After seeing this, I now know why...o.o"

Every top player in the league's game is finess swagger and lots of dangles. Ovechkin is a top player except his game is not like the others, ovechkins game is pure genetic stopping power

The kid doesnt know how to throw a punch or protect himself... bet he will learn now.
To be fair ovie got a hold of him before he got his gloves off. Still the kid had enough chance to defend himself instead of throwing crazy looping shots.

I get the coach wanting to back up his player; he's not gonna stand there and tell the media the kid deserved it. However, they keep making him sound like he's brand new to the game of hockey. The kid is 19 with a body maturity of a 25 year old playing in the NHL. He is big enough and old enough to fight. This was straight over confidence going up against experience.
