Professional Australians always seem to be at least 25% more Australian when they're overseas.

  • yortko1  yesterday

Australian comedians are an exaggerated characterisation of real people And it's so true, you only need to look at people like Jim, Paul Hogan, Barry Humphries. In real life they are normal people, it's the act and character that people remember.

@Daltira wait the white americans are the dumb ones that dont use metric. the rest of the world's people uses it. advanced people like hispanics, africans, european whites and asians.

  • Daltira  3 months ago

Erich Von Molder wot...I’m talking about less intelligent races who don’t contribute. Not europeans which are where all white americans are originally from idiot.

the metric system needs to be adopted by everyone. it is just more accurate and it makes sense.

  • chico americano  16 days ago

@spartan2000music thankfully, any person who needs to count in the US uses the metric system anyway... NASA etc

Why pretend to be someone funny when you're really someone who doesn't understand humour?

Theyre both painfully PC urethra lickers, why watch

  • amjad warsi  11 months ago

He is spot on with regards to the stupidity of the American system of measurements. Metric system is the best and the most logical.

  • Mauricio Villegas  16 days ago

@Hemanth Swarna Because *you* grew up with it, the same way people born and raised with the metric system feel "a sense of relativity there that makes much more sense in the" metric system.

@Ian Montgomery 1 or 2, but whos counting

I like the way he's comfortable enough in his Australianness to pronounce Fillet O' Fish the Australian/Commonwealth way and not translate himself for Americans.I found myself translating when I lived in the US. Now that I am back home in Australia it has taken me years to lose "cell phone" and I still haven't ditched "soda". Other words I use differently depending on whether I'm talking to Australians or my American wife -- "trash/rubbish" is an example here.

  • Ian Montgomery  2 months ago

@Loose Meat Sandwich No - but it also itn't called a 'non-cell' or exchange phone either. here in Australia we call a phone with wire a landline then a mobile phone and if you go bush you get a satellite phone.
