I Tried 4 Different Personalized Style Boxes

  • So I've been seeing advertisements for personalized style boxes for years, so I finally decided to take the plunge and buy them and see what they would send me! I tried Stitch Fix, Le Tote, Wantable, and Trunk Club to test and compare their clothes and prices, and see if they are worth it! I took all of their quizzes and then did a massive unboxing haul to show you guys what they're all about.

What do you think? Would you try one of these?

I get Stitch Fix and have for about 3 years. I look forward to it each month and I appreciate how easy it is to send things back. I enjoy the "I wouldn't have chosen that for myself, but I really love it" aspect of it. I have had some items that were definite returns. I usually get a pair of pants (either jeans or trousers for work) a blouse, and 2 more casual shirts. I have gotten some great accessories from them--necklaces and earrings that I adore, and they've also sent me tote bags, which teachers love to have. We're all part bag lady.

I know I’m kind of late on the recruit. But I have known Sophia for a long time and her ordering boxes like this seems a bit unfair. I mean my style is close to hers with a lot of the Gothic and dark clothing. But when I see a lot of the clothing on her it looks really good and there were some jeans that she liked that she could’ve kept that would’ve save her a trip to the store. All in all I think actually most of the items were great there were some hard misses. but if she were more open to some styles she would look great in a lot of those clothes. Just my opinion though

These kind of boxes are only good for people who don’t already have a specific personal style, or are looking to upgrade their wardrobe with pretty basic “nice” clothing, with a nice markup for the company that sent them to you. I’ve heard you have to get like three or four to even start getting a real style you like. Spend money on nice clothes you actually like, and know you like, by trying them on in store, folks.

I love how she said "I have nothing against bracelets and sweaters I just feel like I don't wear them that much" as she's wearing a bracelet and sweater😂
