France has had the most native players and coaches in the last 4 World Cups… and their dominance has been on the rise. Players like Kylian Mbappe and Paul Pogba are the children of immigrants and the product of the French soccer academy system. French- born players have played for Togo, Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia, Argentina, Portugal, and many more.

To truly understand the international conflicts and trends shaping our world you need a big-picture view. Video journalist Sam Ellis uses maps to tell these stories and chart their effects on foreign policy.

What Americans idiots who are obsessed with race don’t understand is that here in Europe (France or For example Switzerland, where I live) the people doesn’t refer to their ethnicity first to define their citizenship. In those French banlieues they are a lot of immigrants, living in poor areas but the issue is more a social issue than a race issue. It’s not like in the us, where blacks live in only black neighborhood, latinos in latinos neighborhood. In the same neighborhood, you can have arabs, blacks...

  • werner94fribourg It is true because even at school you have these little cards that the your race and nationality and if your parents were born here or not. Also it says your own legal status.

Yeah, America, one of the most ethnically plural countries of the world, is pissed off at the French team (have you ever watched and NBA match?). The FRENCH PEOPLE is not black. That is the reality. So simple as that.

  • Luciano Barreto  (1 day ago)

  • I’m English, football is an English sport.Soccer is actually a more accurate term for the game. As all over the commonwealth different variants of football are played. It doesn’t make any sense to call one of them football. It’s confusing if your from a country that has:Gaelic footballAustralian football Rugby footballAmerican football Canadian footballAnd Futsul
