As a longtime ravens fan, I just had so much respect for Troy. I really grew up watching a true height of the Ravens-Steelers rivalries and defenses. Such a pleasure watching him and Reed.

Ed Reed is the best ever. He covered the field better than any safety in history. The "Ball Hawk" is what they called him. And when he picked it, he could return it like no other safety in history. Lott hit harder, but Reedwas better in other aspects. Reed was a human highlight reel. Every week this guy gave us unreal highlights. Blocked punts...punt returns....he did it all. You can argue for second...toss up between Lott and Polamaleu….but #1 is clear and its the dude they called "The Ball Hawk".

Rodney Harrison in 2003-2004 played strong safety as good as anyone Ive seen. Ed Reed I think is #1 all time. Eric Berry could've been top 10 all time if he stayed healthy.

Reed should be ahead of Krause because Krause would get burned and set on fire in today’s game
