The word 'transcendent' is almost as overused [and, arguably, misused] in sports media as the word 'generational'.

What happens if Arizona is in the same boat next year, with the qb being best player available again?

On the flip side with the Murray logic, if you draft him because you have a horrible line and nothing else working on the team, you are setting up a rookie for failure because you are putting all the cards on a quarterback to pull it down and run. That is not how an NFL quarterback lasts in this league. Fix everything else, first. Cleveland, or all teams, did this. They fixed the team, then they got the quarterback.

Chris Simms is honestly the most underrated football analyst out there. He's really grown on me

‪Here is my bold prediction for one team in 2019: quarterback was not an issue for Arizona. They get Kyler with the first pick and I still think they would get a top 3 draft pick next year.‬

I agree with you Simms, I don’t like Allen at 3

I agree that drafting Kyler Murray is a mistake if the Cardinals do it.
And I get the whole "Oh he's a mobile Quarterback, so he can make up for the bad offensive line", but he also can't be running for his life. Look what happened to RGIII. The very same thing can happen to Kyler Murray

Thank you, Chris Simms. I usually cringe whenever I hear you talk about the Jags, but you actually gave us a good player in TJ Hockenson.

An OL might be a surprise at #6 but one should be considered by 37.

giants are either going Daniel Jones or a wr with their second first round pick, and pick a defensive guy at 6
