    So when you crush it, it forms like this two part epoxy or glue, and that is the allicin, and the allicin is what's really really good for you in garlicI believe

    +Siannon McMillan see when you crush the garlic it activates it's defense mechanism, which is kind of like a two part epoxy or glue, and that is the Allicin. And the Allicin is what's so good for you in garlic.I believe

    jonsiiin it’s a chemical compound found in garlic & Brad went on one of his usual tangents talking about it in a video a few months ago, but he also wasn’t sure if what he was saying was correct so then he was asking other test kitchen employees about it, and ended his little allicin lesson with “.....
