  • In the first ever Champions League final between two English clubs, Manchester United got the better of Chelsea on a dramatic night in Moscow. It was a night of ups-and-downs for Cristiano Ronaldo as he scored a brilliant header but also missed a penalty in the shoot-out. However, a John Terry "slip" got United back into the shoot-out which they eventually won when Edwin van der Sar saved from Nicolas Anelka.
