  • Storm Chasers Jeff and Kathryn Piotrowski intercept a nice storm which formed on an outflow boundary from storms earlier in the day in Kansas. There was a slight risk for tornadoes with any storm that developed but the storms suffered from lack of sufficient inflow to keep the updrafts sustained. The day was one of beautiful storms, roads and fields flooded with hail and beautiful lightning to finish the day. Severe weather is starting off slow this year, 2013...but is sure to ramp up in May and June. Are you prepared? What a great new intro! I'll definitely check out your website ^^
Wauw! That's really big and intense hail for this time of the year...sadly, we never get hail like that in Belgium. I love hail so much :)
Incredible road flooding at 1:26 and a lovely mesocyclone capture at the end!
    Congratulations with this awesome chasefootage!
