Tornado, Supercell, Gust Front, and Red Sunset April 26 2013 Putnam, OK

  • Storms developed in Northwestern OK and raced Southeast. It was a crazy balance of weather with the cold front winning for awhile, he 850mb Jet was too weak and the storms were getting undercut by the cold air as the cold front pushed through.
    TwisterChasers Storm Chasers Jeff and Kathryn Piotrowski were staying just ahead of the storm as it plunged Southeastward and watched a tornado form near Putnam, OK. Storm Chaser Tim Marshall also captured footage of this tornado, from a closer vantage point, his location 7 Miles North of Putnam, OK
