  • In this video I explain exactly how car dealerships rip you off. A lot of car dealerships implement the four square method, which is just a simple way to make you think that you're getting a deal.

Car dealerships are a very sophisticated network of stores that know how to separate you from your money. Not all dealerships rip you off, but the ones that use the four square method do.

Don't get ripped off on your next car purchase and watch this video until the end.

I went to a dealership and sales guy asks me if he can make me a good deal would I buy today and I said yes... took my keys to value my trade in and then tried to sell me a car which I didn’t want and then I asked for my keys and I kid you not they held them and wouldn’t give them and delayed it until I would negotiate... at that point I made a scene and they got my keys.

Agree with almost everything you’re saying except new car sales. The mark up on them is huge that’s why cars usually depreciate as soon as you drive them off the lot. Also it’s how they still profit with “rebates and incentives”. Great video

The dealer needs you more than you need the dealer. Always negotiate on just the car first. Once you have a purchase price....Then say .... well I’m thinking of trading this in. Get a quote on your vehicle from Carmax. Use that quote to see how close the dealer is to Kelly blue book value. If the dealer won’t match or beat the carmax quote ... sell your car to carmax. You are in control and you have an ace in the hole. Go get em!

Every business has to make money. Groceries gss companies clothing stores etc... if its not making profit then there is no business. Difference is getting raped or getting a decent deal. No dealer will lose on a car unless its end of month and they need a unit for quota.

It's unfair to include the service department in your bs video. Dealership service departments are usually Very separate from sales. In fact the dealer I work at as a technician, we treat sales department just like a normal costumer. We may cost Notre than an independent shop, however we stand behind our work and parts. Unlike an independent who may throw parts at a vehicle hoping they fix it, and at the end if the day when it's too difficult for them, they just say they don't have the special tools needed and send people to the dealer where they get to pay all over again.

The car I wanted the dealer was selling it for 35K + my interest fees so roughly over 40K. I watched this video and skipped the car and did a better thing. I went to a salvage lot that sells salvaged cars and got the same car for 20K and it just needed a bumper and fender and a nice wax job. Low miles and maintenance is easy. I saved over 20K doing this method. Idc about the salvaged title.

I do process serves for WeGoLook. I hand letters to debtors who are behind on their car payments. Considering they are paying interest the first few years, they will become underwater in the loan. They want to sell the car but can't as it is worth less than what's left on the loan. People cry to me all the time. It's overwhelming especially if you lose your job or take a paycut. I think it's best to save up $5000 and buy a used car online from the owner of the car. I always have a mechanic check the car before I buy it.
