  • On October 29, 2012 Hurricane Sandy made landfall near Atlantic City, New Jersey. Sandy generated a devastating storm surge that crippled portions of the United States mid Atlantic coastal areas from Maine to Florida. Superstorm Sandy as it is called is the largest Atlantic Hurricane on record spanning 1,098 miles. Storm chaser Jeff Piotrowski accompanied by Storm Chaser Jeremy Holmes arrived in New York several days before "Superstorm Sandy" made its way to landfall. This is a portion of their footage from that devastating weather system, along with portions of licensed footage from local residents of Long Beach and Manhattan. Relief efforts are still ongoing at this posting date of January 23, 2013. Please follow the links below to find out how you can help.

It's just the beginning. I think we will see too many tornado 🌪 in Oklahoma this month. They been spray the sky and still today.

  • Rode out Hurricane Harvey here in Aransas Pass, Tx last August, got snow this winter, and another Hurricane Season fast approaching. We don't know what to expect weather-wise, but sure hope that you don't have to come back this year, Jeff, unless it's for a vacation!
